I am a US Navy veteran and IT Security Specialist experienced across strategic planning, infrastructure development, and systems security management for complex enterprises, holding a B.Sc. in Cyber Security from National University with a specialization in Network Defense; currently pursuing an EC-Council CEH and Cisco CCNA certifications. Recognized for demonstrating a natural aptitude for swiftly identifying and resolving system vulnerabilities to reduce risk and mitigate threats, as well as for innovating and implementing effective strategies to manage complex information security challenges.
Professional focal points include vulnerability analysis, security monitoring, risk mitigation, testing/troubleshooting, diagnostics, documentation/reporting, network administration, policy development, process improvement, regulatory compliance, team training/coaching, and cross-team coordination. Before pursuing my B.Sc. in Cyber Security, I led a strong record of success as an Information Technology Specialist with Veterans Affairs and young startup ARBER LLC. Under my leadership, I assisted an IT team in creating, executing, and maintaining technology solutions that met business needs. In addition, I liaised with senior leadership, stakeholders, and IT teams to ensure the company’s technological support structure was driving the business forward with minimal expenditures.
